$55.00

Bringing you a fusion of fossil magic with western charm, all of our bolo ties are made of genuine leather and are adjustable up to 34” around. The stainless steel leverback mechanism on the back side flips up so you can easily slide your bolo tie on and off, and then is flipped down to “lock” it into place at the desired length. This bolo tie features antiqued Gold-Plated aiguillettes and a genuine piece of polished Septarian Jasper measuring 1.75” tall.

Septarian is not technically a jasper, but a tri-colored sedimentary rock formation, also known as "Dragon Stone". It is a concretion formed from a mixture of minerals, most commonly calcite (yellow), aragonite (brown), and limestone (gray). Septarian nodules formed during the Cretaceous Period, 50 to 70 million years ago, when volcanic activity attracted and chemically bonded dead sea life with sediment. As the nodules dried out, they shrank and cracked, resulting in the distinctive web-like patterns seen today. The name "septarian" comes from the Latin word septum, which refers to these internal partitions or cracks.
