Kay started creating handmade jewelry for friends and family at the age of 13, and first opened an Etsy shop in 2011 while still in high school, creating the “Gypsea Bohemian” brand in 2015, as a senior in college. Gypsea Bohemian was later rebranded to “Celestial Silver Co.” in January of 2021. Now, Kay makes one-of-a-kind jewelry for over a dozen small shops in the state of Virginia and North Carolina, participates in weekly live art and jewelry shows, and sells hundreds of unique pieces worldwide.
