Sometimes honoring the past means finding a new way to carry it forward. This one-of-a-kind necklace features an antique sterling silver pin, lovingly upcycled into a wearable pendant. I was hesitant to alter this ornate, handmade piece, but the original pin’s construction prevented it from sitting properly against clothing, so I carefully removed the hardware, refined the back, and drilled two holes to give this vintage treasure a new life as a necklace. The original maker’s signature remains etched into the silver, preserving a tangible connection to its origins.

Accented with genuine turquoise, this piece beautifully blends antique craftsmanship with thoughtful reinvention. Upcycled antique silver necklace measures 18” around. The pendant portion measures 2.5” tall by 1” wide. Necklace will arrive in the Black Velvet presentation box shown.
