This delicate medallion necklace features a butterfly and hand-stamped celestial background. The Hebrew is a nod to taking part in the Jewish concept of "Tikkun Olam" which means "repair the world". One way we do this is by "Sh'mrat Ha'Teva" or protecting nature, as is inscribed on this unique pendant. We can protect the Earth in many ways, such as planting new trees each year, or simply by recycling. For this special piece, I used recycled sterling (.925) scrap metal to create this necklace with careful intention as a reminder of our responsibility to protect our beautiful planet. Anyone (Jewish or not) is welcome to purchase and enjoy this beautiful necklace and hopefully wear it as a daily reminder to take care of the Earth!
